The Met Gala 2021’s Best Beauty Moments — Photos

Poet Amanda Gorman is one of the night’s co-chairs, and she’s taking her latest position seriously. She brought Lady Liberty vibes with a cobalt twist — and I’m not just saying that because her clutch was emblazoned with the words, “Give us your tired.” A strip of gems adorned her face, and it led upward to a glitzed-out olive-branch headband designed by Jennifer Behr and bun-meets-braid.

New mom Ilana Glazer looked absolutely radiant on the cream carpet with flushed cheeks, dewy skin, and shimmery champagne eye makeup. The comedian’s signature curls were on full display as springy and defined as ever in a blunt bob.

Emma Chamberlain

For her first time at the Met Gala, Emma Chamberlain brought ’70s vibes along with her. Hairstylist Laura Polko gave the YouTube star retro flipped ends while makeup artist Kelsey Deenihan gave a classic smoky eye look groovy, neon green accents — with Scylla from the Byredo Eyeshadow 5 Colour Palette in Syren — along Chamberlain’s lash line and inner corners to echo the shimmery material of her bedazzled mini dress.

Keke Palmer also went the throwback route with ‘70s diva vibes, complete with voluminous Diana Ross curls, dramatic bronzed eye makeup, and gorgeous terracotta blush. We can’t take our eyes off the golden highlights around her lips, though. What an incredible touch to the entire gilded look.
